Practice together
Intergenerational blessing: speak courage forward
A short Christian household or community practice for praying and speaking Scripture-shaped encouragement across generations.
Shared rhythm
Begin with what you can practice together.
Make a regular moment for generations to pray for one another, speak truthful encouragement, and name how each person can serve now.
- Gather people from more than one generation where possible.
- Name one true evidence of grace, courage, faithfulness, or growth you have seen in another person.
- Pray a short Scripture-shaped blessing over what lies ahead.

Bless one another now
Children can pray for adults. Teens can encourage elders. Adults can receive prayer. Elders can offer wisdom and also receive care. Scripture gives no reason to treat faithful contribution as something reserved for one age group.
Keep the prayer simple and sincere. A few truthful words spoken in faith can carry farther than a long speech.
