Pray for:

  • your household and local church — wisdom, healing, unity, courage, provision, and deeper love for Jesus;
  • neighbors and leaders — justice, restraint, truth, wise decisions, and protection for the vulnerable;
  • peacemakers and persecuted believers — courage, endurance, protection, reconciliation, and faithful witness;
  • people facing disaster, war, displacement, or grief — rescue, comfort, provision, shelter, and effective help;
  • the nations and needs God brings to mind — ask the Holy Spirit where to pray, give, encourage, or serve.

How current intercession briefs are prepared

When a current situation is featured, the brief gives you:

  • a reliable factual summary and clear location;
  • enough context to understand who is affected and what is needed;
  • specific prayer points for people, leaders, responders, churches, and communities;
  • a clear sense of when the event happened so prayer stays connected to the present need;
  • an honest distinction between established facts, interpretation, and suggested prayer.

The purpose is simple: understand enough to intercede with compassion, then give your attention to God rather than remaining absorbed in the crisis.
